Clarity, accountability, and support
For every member of the public.
GB2GB is an independent public‑interest project run by a single researcher, writer, and editor. This page explains the mission behind the work and how the two GB2GB platforms connect.
Our Mission
GB2GB exists to make complex information clear, expose misinformation, and support people who are overwhelmed by systems that should be simple.
The project has two connected parts:
• GB2GB Community Advice — practical, step‑by‑step help for everyday problems
• GB2GB Media Analysis — public‑interest journalism examining misinformation and media influence
Both platforms serve one mission: to help people understand the world more clearly and navigate it more confidently.
GB2GB Media Analysis
GB2GB also operates a dedicated Media Analysis platform, examining misinformation, political framing, and the influence of concentrated media ownership in the UK.

Independent Work, Built From the Ground Up
For over six months, GB2GB has been operated entirely by one person — researching, writing, editing, publishing, and managing both platforms without funding.
Every article, guide, and investigation has been produced independently. This work has grown rapidly, and the next stage is to collaborate with editors, media professionals, and community specialists to expand the project responsibly and sustainably.
Professional Support & Advisors
GB2GB benefits from the guidance of trusted professionals who provide
oversight, expertise, and accountability as the project grows.
Advisor entries:
Les Knight— Qualified Accountant Provides financial integrity, consistency, and sustainability guidance for the project.
Simon P George — Registered Social Worker (HCPC‑registered) Advises on
community impact, safeguarding, and the needs of vulnerable individuals.
GB2GB is growing — and this About page will evolve as the project expands.
